For the fourth year in a row, the Attic participated in the U.S. Marine Corps program, “Toys for Tots.” Once again, our tenants and folks in the neighborhood were incredibly generous — for example, one man donated 1,400 hot wheel cars! When the Marines picked up the toys on December 21st, we had collected more than 2,000 gifts — twice as many as we collected last year! So many children had a Merry Christmas because of your kindness. Thank you for sharing your hearts. Have a safe and Happy New Year!

This holiday season, join Attic Self Storage in helping to support the mission of Toys for Tots. For the fourth year in a row, The Attic is hosting a Toys for Tots drop off point. Simply bring a new, unwrapped toy to our office and place it in the bin by Monday, December 19. We’ll keep the toys safe until they can be collected by the Marine Corps Reservists who will distribute them to children in need. Our office is located at 3375 Arlington Ave in Riverside. Hours are 9 am to 6 pm Monday through Saturday and 10 am to 3 pm on Sundays.

The Attic recently installed safety mirrors to increase visibility in high traffic areas of the facility. As tenants approach various intersections on the property, they can now check for oncoming vehicles in mirrors mounted on the buildings. Speeding vehicles and several near misses helped inspire the use of safety mirrors. So, as an added precaution, remember to drive slowly.CONTINUE READING →
This year, the Attic is joining with the Word of Life ministries to help provide food for disadvantaged families during the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons.
We are accepting unopened food items, including perishable products, at our office from 9 – 6 p.m. Daily and 10 – 3 p.m. on Sundays. The food drive will continue through Thanksgiving week.

On Saturday, April 11, the Attic will open its gates to the community for our second annual document shredding event — “Shredmageddon.”
Start collecting old documents, bills, tax forms, and so forth so you can deliver up to FIVE file size boxes of confidential data to our RV storage area for safe and secure destruction.
You’ll have a front row seat while you watch giant chopping jaws pulverize your papers deep inside the mobile shredding vehicle. Bring the kids who’ll see the process of your materials move through a labyrinth of conveyer belts and chutes on a closed circuit video screen.
